PIETENS: Mike A longtime resident of Chatham, Mike Pietens passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ on Sunday February 6, 2011 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Grace Pietens for 62 years. Loving father of Patricia & Marien Hopman of Chatham, Helen Matthews of Tsawwassen, British Columbia, Hilda & Paul Beaman, Tena & Andrew Hummelen, Debbie & Paul VanKesteren, all of Chatham, and Michael Pietens of the Philippines. Cherished grandfather of 17 and fondly remembered by 13 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Tena Saeteraas, Nancy VanLanduyt, and the late Martin and Lambert. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday February 7, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Free Reformed Church, Gregory Drive East, Chatham at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday February 8, 2011 with Pastor Tim Bergsma officiating.
