Obituary of Reginald Émile Dubé

DUBÉ: Reginald Émile - A resident of Chatham and formerly of Pain Court, Reginald Dubé passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the age of 63. Born in Sherbrooke, Québec, Reginald was the son of the late Adélard and Jeanne Dubé. Beloved husband of Rachelle Dubé (nee Carrier). Loving father of Joel Dubé (Gail) of Chatham, Joanne Dubé (Ken Countryman) of Dresden and Alain Dubé (Anita) of Chatham. Predeceased by his son Silvain Dubé (2002). Proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 4 great-grandchildren. Dearly missed by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Reginald was a hardworking and well respected family man who worked for many years at Laprise Farms. Reginald thoroughly enjoyed playing euchre and poker and will be remembered for his smile and sense of humour. Reginald was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Third Degree. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers to be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 6:45 p.m. with Knights of Columbus Prayers to follow. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculée Conception Church, Pain Court on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. Fr. Machutcha celebrant. Interment to follow at St Philippe Cemetery, Grande Pointe. Donations made in memory of Reginald to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
