Monette: Georges (George) Rene, a resident of Comox, B.C. George Monette died Thursday December 23, 2010 at his home at the age of 92. Born in Montreal, Quebec on April 11, 1918. Beloved husband of the late Irene Florence (Kelly) Monette and Lillian (Clarke) Monette (2005). Dear father of Suzanne Monette of Courtenay, B.C.; Larry & Doreen Prout of Marmora, Ontario and the late Alan Monette. Grandfather of Brian Prout & his wife Bridgitte and Sevran Monette Howe, and the late Leah Monette Hunter. Also survived by extended family Dorothy & Tom O’Malley, Brights Grove; John & Glenda Clarke, Blenheim and their children, Paula, Jamie & Natalie Frappier, Tecumseh, Ontario; Lori, Paul, Abby, Brent, Cassy & Danielle Vercouteren, Blenheim.
