Obituary of E. Mabel Legue

LEGUE: E. Mabel - A resident of Chatham, Mabel Legue passed away at Riverview Gardens on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late J. Edwin Legue (1978). Loving mother of David Legue of Chatham. Predeceased by her two sons Wayne (1983) and Bryon (1993). Proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 12 great-grandchildren. Mabel is survived by her two sisters, Jean Kimpe of Chatham and Shirley Phaneuf of Tilbury and her two brothers Kenneth Maynard and Thomas Maynard. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Mabel was associated with Linen and Wool Fashions and Junior Debs and Gents in Chatham from 1952 to 1978. Cremation has taken place and a family memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Mabel to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
