Lindsey: Ellis Levern (Bud) A resident of Chatham and formerly of Blenheim, Bud Lindsey passed away at the Copper Terrace Nursing Home in Chatham on Wednesday December 22, 2010 at the age of 91 years. Born in Bengough, Saskatchewan son of the late Ellis and Elsie (Meyers) Lindsey. Dear father of Dale and Lynn Lindsey of Thunder Bay, Judy (Reitberger) and Don Johnston of Mitchell’s Bay, Brian and Fiorine Lindsey of Sault Ste. Marie, and Sandra Lindsey of Amherstburg. Grandfather of 10 and Great Grandfather of 11. Brother of Edris Matson of Thunder Bay and the late Mariette Morris, Paul, Don and Harold Lindsey. Bud was a self employed carpenter in Thunder Bay before his retirement in Kingsville and Blenheim. He was a veteran of W.W. II having served overseas in the Canadian Army. He enjoyed playing the banjo and at one time was the leader of a band known as “Bud and his Buddies”. He was a member of Erie Street United Church in Ridgetown and liked to relax by playing bridge and other card games. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim after a private family funeral service at McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim, 519-676-3451.
