Obituary of David Blondeel

BLONDEEL: David Scott - A resident of Blenheim, David Blondeel passed away with family and friends by his side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the age of 46. Born in Chatham, David was the son of Rogier and Ghislaine (Caryn) Blondeel. Proud father of Caleb, Rogier and Matthew. Dear brother to Jean Blondeel of London, Linda Raes (Dan) of Dover, Debra Blondeel of Chatham, Susan Blondeel of Sarnia, Brenda Charles (Trevor) of Chatham, Jacqueline Campbell (Bill) of Chatham and Michael Blondeel of Chatham. David will be dearly missed by his best friends Darrin Johnston and Paul Wilcox, and by many nieces and nephews. David will also be missed by his friends and co-workers at Konal Engineering and Equipment in Blenheim. David loved to play and watch hockey and he specialized as the goaltender. David will be remembered for his sense of humour which he kept with him until the end. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. with Fr. Frank Leslie officiating. Cremation to follow with a private family interment to be held at a later date. Donations made in memory of David to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
