OUELLETTE, Larry A resident of Chatham, Lawrence “Larry” Joseph Ouellette passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday, December 17, 2010 at the age of 92. Born in Tilbury, on December 12, 1918, son of the late James & Clara Ouellette. Cherished husband of the late Betty (nee Shaw) Ouellette. Loving father to Barbara Hennessy of Chatham, Beverly & Barry Ronson of Bracebridge, James “Jim” & Arlene Ouellette of Dundas, Karen & Don Powers of Dover Township, and Patricia McGill & Daniel of Guelph. Fondly remembered by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and sister Margaret Roy of London. Larry is predeceased by siblings Stella Sauve, Beatrice Black, Ray Ouellette, Donald Ouellette, Alfred Ouellette, grandson David Ronson (1977), great-grandson Nathan Ronson, and son-in-law Rick Fisher. Larry worked as an Inspector at International Harvestor for many years prior to his retirement, he was a WWII Veteran, and spent leisure time travelling. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Monday, December 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Daniel Bombardier as celebrant. Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations in memory of Larry Ouellette to the Alzheimer’s Society, or the Canadian Red Cross Society would be appreciated by the family.
