SCHMITCHEN: Christopher. Christopher Schmitchen passed away gently in his sleep early in the morning on December 12, 2010, at the age of 51. He will be dearly missed by his mother, Mary Schmitchen, brothers Ed (Rebecca Shea) and Bob (Debbie), sisters Valerie (Matthew Pill) and Veronica, nieces and nephews Adam (Karen), Jonathan (Alita), Yolanda (Mikey), Jason (Caleigh), Taylor, Quinn (Jess), Ann and great-nephew, Riley, aunts and uncles, Anne Parker (Loren), John Schmitchen (Kathy), Bob Schmitchen (Angela) and Louise Leeson. He will also be missed by his Ridgetown friends who will remember him for being “Excellent, as always”. His spirits were lifted by his love of gardening, music and Halloween. He was passionate about his woodworking and creative in all his endeavors, always thinking outside the box. He was always ready, willing and happy to help out friends and neighbours at a moments notice. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 26 George Street, Ridgetown on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr.
