SOJAK, Bonnie Jean - A resident of Ridgetown, Bonnie Jean Sojak, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the age of 68. Born in Chatham, Ontario, daughter of the late Milford A. (Pete) Burnham and the late Edith M. (Toots) Reynolds. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Sojak (2006). Dear mother of Lonnie and Lyn Sojak of Ridgetown, Paul Sojak and special friend Mindy Blondeel of Chatham and Matt and Stacy Sojak of Ridgetown. Cherished grandmother of Coady, Hunter, Calin, Garrett and Layne. Sister of June Sisson and Bill of Michigan and Ed Yott of Kitchener. Sister-in-law of John and Mary Sojak, Milan Sojak, Jerry and Jean Sojak, Mary Dinga and Bessie Kominek, all of Ridgetown, Frances and Stan Kominek of Dresden and Martha and Al Kovar of Chatham. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family will received friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Friday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Ridgetown on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Mariaraj Irudayam celebrant. Cremation with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim at a later date.
