Obituary of Ruby Helen Kalp

Kalp: Ruby Helen (nee Goddard), A resident of Chatham, Ruby Kalp passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the age of 82. She was born in Chatham on January 12, 1928 to the late George and Rose (nee Macey) Goddard. Cherished wife of 58 years to Harry Kalp. Dear mother to Marg (Roland) Rheault, Deb (Rick) Hottot, Barb (Bruce) Burgess, Patsy (Rolland) Lachance, Herman (Glenda) Kalp, Dan (Karen) Kalp. Predeceased by one son Lawrence (2005). Ruby will also be dearly missed her sisters Ellen (Louis) Jacques and Francis Jenkins. Predeceased by her brothers Jack, George, Harry; sisters Gladys Barks and Betty Kelley. Ruby will also be dearly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one great-grandson Riley Thomas James Hottot (2001). Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Deacon Elaine Wilcox officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
