Obituary of Richard Wayne Cadotte

Cadotte: Wayne Richard, On October 11th, 2010, at the age of 64, Wayne passed away peacefully at his home in Chatham, surrounded by his loved ones. Wayne was a devoted father who committed his life to those he loved. He will be fondly remembered by his loving wife Mary Beth and his faithful companion Holly, and their children, David (Eleanor) Cadotte, Michael (Heather) Cadotte, Adam Cadotte, James (Melanie) McKellar, and Stacey (Rudy) Sanchez. Wayne loved being surrounded by his beautiful grandchildren Logan "Wogie" and Carter "Bubbs" Cadotte, Julia and Claudia McKellar, and Calista Sanchez. He is survived by his sisters Lucille Raymond and Glenda Di Giovanni. Wayne is pre-deceased by his wife Theresa (1990) and his parents Glen and Agnes Cadotte. Wayne valued hard work and enjoyed success as a farmer in Dover Township, as a Financial Advisor, and an Insurance Broker. He also served as a member of the St. Clair Catholic School Board for a number of years and was chairman at the time of his stroke in 1995. Wayne was also a member of the Steering Committee for the Geranium House Kids’ Circle. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Parish prayers to be held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 180 Wellington St. W. Chatham on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Fr. Matthew Kucharski celebrant. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham. Memorial donations to honour Wayne’s life can be made to The Palliative Care Consultation Team/CCAC or the Geranium House Kids' Circle and would be appreciated by the family.
