Obituary of Eleanor Pardo

Pardo: Laura Eleanor (Robbins). A resident of Blenheim, Eleanor Pardo passed away on September 6, 2010 with family by her side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 87. Beloved wife of Lloyd “Red” for over 54 years (predeceased 1996). Cherished mother of Richard (Dick) Pardo and Joanne (Mike) MacFarlane. Loving grandma to Andrea and Shannon MacFarlane. Predeceased by her parents Addie (Frederick) and Jack Robbins. Eleanor was the oldest and dear sister of 10 siblings, Don, Peggy, Edna, Ethel, Annie, Mary, Alice, Barb, George, and Ken, all predeceased. Eleanor was a homemaker and her greatest achievement was her family and her constant devotion in their lives. She truly enjoyed her role as wife, mother, and grandma. She loved to cook, keep an immaculate home, knit, and spend time with her family and friends, especially her granddaughters. We love you so much and we will miss you forever in our hearts. Family will receive friends for visitation at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Private Family Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home with Legion Padre Bill Terris officiating. Cremation with interment in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Eleanor to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
