Obituary of Ann Fennema

FENNEMA: Anna Maaike (Ann), A resident of Blenheim Community Village and formerly of Chatham and Tilbury East, Ann passed away on Monday, August 9, 2010 at the Blenheim Community Village, Blenheim at the age of 77. Born in Franeker, Friesland, the Netherlands daughter of the late Ale and Dieuwke DeBoer (Tuinstra). Loving mother of Art Fennema (Jenny Lou) of Oakland, Ontario, Dorothy De Bruin (Jack) of RR # 5, Blenheim and Teresa Louwerse (Jack) of RR # 1, Ridgetown. Dear Beppe to 10 Grandchildren. Predeceased by her former husband and friend Joop Fennema (2003). Ann is survived by her sisters Marg Keizer of Tillsonburg, and Reintje Ypma and Tena Fokkema of the Netherlands. Sister-in-law of Pat De Boer of Blenheim. Predeceased by her brother Dick De Boer. Ann was a member of the First Reformed Church, Chatham. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Thursday, August 12, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Friday at the Church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the First Reformed Church, 632 Lacroix St., Chatham on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Pete Burrill officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations made in memory of Ann to the Leprosy Mission or the Insight for Living Ministries are appreciated by the family.
