Obituary of Albert L. Pilbeam

Pilbeam, Albert Lloyd Sr., A resident of Morpeth, Albert Pilbeam Sr. passed away suddenly at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Sunday, August 8, 2010. at the age of 61. Born in Fergus, son of the late Lloyd and Ellen (Beach) Pilbeam. Beloved husband of Janet (Ballantyne) Pilbeam. Dear father of Mindy Pilbeam and Paul Laing of Ridgetown, Albert Pilbeam Jr. and his wife Melissa of Ridgetown and Kelly Pilbeam and Mat Kungel of Kingsville. Grandfather of Paige, Hunter, Jaxon, Lynly, Alison, Jillian and Devin. Albert will be missed by his first wife and friend Carol. Brother of Gordon Pilbeam and Brenda Barr, Frances Belski and Edmund, Mary and Rick Hooper, John and Olga Ballantyne and Barb and Leonard Beaulieu. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Thomas Pilbeam. Albert was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 243, Ridgetown. He worked for Taylor Mechanical, Mike Berkovich and was also self-employed. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street, East, Ridgetown on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tim Joyce officiating. Cremation to follow with interment in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (O.S.P.C.A.) would be appreciated.
