Obituary of Betty Conmackie

CONMACKIE: Betty (Lane)- A resident of Chatham, Betty Conmackie passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2010, at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus, at the age of 81. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Ernest & Effie May (Falconer) Lane. Beloved wife of the late James (Jim) Conmackie. Loving mother of Joseph & Paulette Lane of Chatham, Gary & Theresa Livingston of Noble, ON, Michael & Helene Conmackie of Windsor, and the late Betty Lou Melanson (2003). Grandmother of 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Dear sister of Bev & Vivian Lane of Chatham, Ed Lane of Chatham, and the late Bill Lane, Beatrice Thomas, Fred Lane, Douglas Lane, Malcolm Lane and George Lane. Betty is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
