WAMMES: Mary Theresa A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Bothwell, Mary Theresa Wammes passed away with all her children by her side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Born in Obdam, The Netherlands, daughter of the late Pieter and Antje (VanDiepen) Klaver. Beloved wife of the late William Jacobus Wammes (1995). Dear mother of Elly and John deNijs of Highgate, Ann and Jack Weiskittel of Indianapolis, Ed and Lori Wammes of Bothwell, Maryanne and Joe DeBruyn of Ridgetown, Peter and Karen Wammes of Bothwell, Paul and Diana Wammes of Petrolia, Theresa and Eugene (Josh) Glavin of Mt. Carmel and the late infant son Adrianus (1954). Beloved grandmother of 20 grandchildren; Danielle (Andrew), Eric, Joshua, Abigail, Hugh, Kathleen, Nicholas, Kyle, Rachael, Renee, Sonja, Morgan, Jordan, Tyler, Adam, Lindsay, Evan, Rebecca, Ellen, Meghan and the late Lia. Also survived by her sister Gon Klaver of the Netherlands. She was predeceased by 2 brothers Piet and Cor and 2 sisters Gre and Jo. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Sunday, June 13, 2010 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Parish Prayers on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 11:00a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Ridgetown. Interment St. Ignatius Cemetery, Bothwell. Donations to Families for Children appreciated and may be made at the Funeral Home.
