FORD: Harvey Leon. A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Windsor, Harvey L. Ford passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Tuesday June 1st, 2010 at the age of 86 years. Born in Howard Twsp., son of the late Dougal James and Jennie (June) Ford. Beloved husband of the late Ruby May (Elliott) Ford (2005). Dear father Cheryl Simpson of Burlington, Bonnie and George Badovinac of Brampton, and Dennis H. Ford of Windsor. Predeceased by a son-in-law Robert Simpson. Grandfather of Chris and Tricia Simpson, Scott and Amanda Simpson, Shane Ford, Kori and Sean Sharpe, David and Carly Badovinac, and Laura Badovinac. Brother of the late Jean Doran and W. E. (Bud), Irvine, Norman, and Calvin Ford. Harvey was a retiree of Ford Motor Company and a life member of Great Western Masonic Lodge # 47 A.F. & A.M. of Windsor. The Ford family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Thursday June 3rd from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 2:00–4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Saturday June 5, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Paul Shaw of Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown. Donations to Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation appreciated.
