Obituary of Cindy MacKenzie

MacKenzie: Cindy (nee Labadie). A resident of Shelburne and formerly of Chatham, Cindy MacKenzie died on Friday, March 26, 2010 at the age of 38. Born in Chatham, daughter of Carol Labadie and Raymond Labadie of Chatham. Grand-daughter of Doris Hall of Chatham and the late Clinton Hall.Daughter-in-law of Dewar and Brenda MacKenzie. Wife of Jason Mackenzie, and mother of Chloe and Melody. Sister of Matthew Labadie of Dover Township, and Ashley Labadie of Kitchener. Cindy served many communities in Ontario during her career as a Police Constable with the Ontario Provincial Police. Family, friends and colleagues will always remember Cindy’s silent dedication to providing safe and secure communities for Ontario residents to live in. Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Susan Jolley officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Memorial donations to honour Cindy’s life can be made to an Education Fund for her children and can be left with the Funeral Home.
