Obituary of L. Jack Powers

POWERS: Leland Jack - A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of RR # 1 Muirkirk and Montreal, Jack Powers passed away on Friday, February 19, 2010, at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 85. Born in Aylmer to the late Lawrence & Gladys Powers. Jack was predeceased by his first wife Wilma (Ward) Powers (1992). He is survived by his son Geoff Powers & his wife Joy, of Toronto, and predeceased by his son Chris Powers (2009). He is also survived by his sister Sharon Hood & her husband Victor, and brother Glen Powers & his wife Shirley. Jack will be missed by his very special friend and fiancé Faye Mitchell. Family to receive friends at McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown on Monday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Frank DeBoer officiating.
