Christiani: Phoebe. A resident of Ridgetown, Phoebe May Christiani passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus on Saturday January 9, 2010 at the age of 92 years. Born in Stafford Twsp., Renfrew County, daughter of the late James Henry and Elizabeth (Stubbs) Dobson. Beloved wife of the late David L. Christiani (1993). Dear twin sister of Cecil Dobson of Cobden. Loved aunt of David Dobson and Jim and Beth Dobson all of Cobden. Also surviving is a great niece Jayme Dobson, a great nephew Jayson Dobson both of Ottawa and she was a great great aunt of Morgan and Riley. Phoebe had been active in her community serving as a member of Mt. Zion Presbyterian Ladies Auxiliary, The Ridgetown Senior Centre, the Ridgetown Legion Auxiliary and will be remembered by many students for the years she served as the Main Street crossing guard. Friends may call at the McKinlay Funeral Home 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Monday 7:00-9:00 p.m.. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home, on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m with Rev. Paul Shaw officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown at a later date. Donations to Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church or the Ontario Heart & Stroke foundation appreciated.
