Obituary of Carol Norine Wright

Wright: Carol Norine (nee Pepper), After a lengthy battle with cancer, Carol Wright passed away on Monday, January 4, 2010 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus at the age of 69. Born in Raleigh Township in 1940 to the late Gordon and Grace (Seney) Pepper. Loving wife of Howard Wright. Dear mother to Kimberly Wright (Randy Hargest) and Lynn Picard (John). Carol will also be dearly missed by her brother James Pepper (Lois). Proud grandmother to Sydney and Taine Picard. Carol was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Chatham. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from Sarnia General Hospital in 1963 and dedicated her life to caring for others. Carol will be forever remembered for her love of gardening, quilting, sewing and camping. Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home-459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Michael Maroney officiating. Interment to follow at Pardoville Cemetery. Memorial donations to honour Carol’s life can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Addullam Camp Ministries and would be appreciated by the family.
