Obituary of Kay Frances Tiffin

Tiffin: Kay Frances (nee Paul), A resident of Chatham, Kay Tiffin passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the age of 71. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Clarence and Frances-May (Gordon-Kay) Paul. Dear wife of 53 years to Gordon James Tiffin. Dear mother to Shawn (Cathy) Tiffin, Loree (David) Schepens and Jamie (Ruth) Tiffin all of Chatham. Proud grandmother to Allen and his fiancé Ris, Matthew and Taylor Schepens; Alaura, Anna, Erin, Gabe and Jack Tiffin, Stephanie and Adam Rhodes. Sister-in-law of Shirley Paul-Fenton of Blenheim and Bill Homenuk of Chatham, special big Nannie to Jackson Rhodes. Predeceased by her brother Jack Paul (1994). Kay was a retired employee of the former City of Chatham, serving the Municipality for over 21 years. She was also a faithful member of the Chatham Baptist Church. Family will be received at the Funeral Home- 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service to celebrate Kay’s life will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jamie Tiffin from Chatham Baptist Church officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Memorial donations to honour Kay’s life can be made to the C.N.I.B., the Canadian Liver Foundation or the charity of your choice and would be appreciated by the family.
