OUELLETTE: Betty Madeline. A resident of Chatham, Betty Ouellette passed away peacefully at Copper Terrace on Monday November 30, 2009 at the age of 91. Born in Chatham on November 3, 1918, daughter of the late Robert B. & Jane “Jennie” Shaw. Dear wife of Lawrence J. Ouellette. Beloved mother of Barbara Hennessy of Chatham, Beverly Ronson & Barry of Bracebridge, James “Jim” Ouellette & Arlene of Dundas, Karen Powers & Don of Chatham, and Patricia McGill & Dan of Guelph. Fondly remembered by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, sister Gwen Hitchcock of Guilds, and sister-in-law Margaret Roi of Tilbury. Betty is predeceased by her husband Harold Harrogate (1941); brother Robert Shaw; sisters Bonnie and Geraldine Shaw; grandson David Ronson (1977); great grandson Nathan Ronson; and son-in-law Rick Fisher. She worked at Canadian Tire in Chatham for many years prior to her retirement. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Friday December 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr.
