McNALLY: Douglas Francis Kitchener – Went peacefully, Saturday, November 7th, 2009 at age 93 to join his much loved and missed wife, Jean (Georgina Rance) (1995). Born in 1916 to John and Mary (Mitchel) in London, England, he was brother to John, Mable, Jim, Connie of England and Dennis of Australia He came to Canada in 1952 to make a new life for his wife and son, Douglas John McNally (Linda). He was a proud grandfather to Kelly Douglas, Nathan John (Kim) and Shane Patrick. He took special joy in his great-grandson, Sean Douglas McNally. Doug was a “special” grandfather to his faithful visitor, Alice Verkaik. Doug survived stomach cancer at age 79. He was well known for his exceptional skills as a Tool and Die maker (retired from Russell Tool and Die), but his real love was fishing. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.
