Obituary of Kenneth Chambers
CHAMBERS, Kenneth Galbraith, age 76, passed away peacefully December 30, 2023 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham. Ken is the son of the late George and Edna (Galbraith) Chambers.
He is predeceased by his brothers Fred, John, and Dennis and survived by his sister Ruth Ann and brother Robbie. Ken was predeceased by his wife Deena (Woudenberg) Chambers, his daughter Lori Ross, her husband Bob Ross, and grandson Danny.
Surviving is daughter Lisa Chambers of Burlington, grandson Sean of Burlington and dear friend of the family Julie Angiolillo. Ken was an avid race car fan and attended many Michigan 500 races with his son-in-law Bob.
The family wishes to thank Riverview Gardens 2nd floor West staff and Genevieve for all their care and compassion.
The family would like to thank Diane Durochie for her kindness, compassion and friendship.
Special thank you to Ed Bax for being such a wonderful neighbour.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service or visitation as per Ken’s wishes. Burial has taken place, he will be resting with his wife in Pardoville Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to McKinley Funeral Home Chatham. In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing and able to honour Ken, please donate to the Canadian Diabetes Association as per Ken’s wishes.
