Lenover, Daniel

A resident of Rondeau, Daniel Lee Lenover peacefully passed away with his family by his side on Friday, November 17th at the Chatham-Kent Hospice. 
 
He was the son of the late Donald & Laura (nee Oldershaw) Lenover. 
 
Remembered always by his loving wife of 58 years, Karen Lenover (nee Tinline). 
 
Loving father of Chris Lenover (the late Cheryl) & Robin Clark (Todd, children; Bailey & Dawson). 
 
Grandpa of Michael Lenover & Patrick Lenover. 
 
Brother of Kent Lenover (Janet Buck), David Lenover (Mary), Brad Lenover (Carol Anne), & Scott Lenover (Deborah). 
 
Brother-in-law of Cheryl Dickson (Bob). 
 
Missed by many nieces & nephews. Prior to moving to Blenheim, he had been working in the HVAC industry for 23 years before purchasing Handy Brothers with partner Harold VanderEnde. After retiring from Handy Brothers in 2006, Dan and Karen traveled to many places with their family. Dan was an active member of the church and a former Elder in the Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed boating on Lake Erie, RV camping and playing the piano. 
 
Family to receive friends on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham starting at 1:30 pm followed by a Celebration of Dan's Life at 3:00 pm.
 
Cremation has taken place. 
 
Dan's family would like to thank the staff at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham-Kent Hospice, and Erie St. Clair Home and Community Support Services for their care and compassion. 
 
In memory of Dan, donations may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, to the First Presbyterian Church or charity of choice.
