Obituary of Ruth Elizabeth Patrick

Patrick, Ruth Elizabeth - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 4, 2016, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, age 90. Beloved sister of Evelyn Wilbur of Chatham, Wilma Peever of Wallaceburg, and Glen Patrick and wife Jackie of British Columbia. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased her parents William Patrick and Florence May nee Moody, and siblings Charlotte Hope, Lyla Elgie, Omer Patrick, Nellie Huey, Lloyd Patrick, Esther Jardine, Carlyle Patrick, and Eileen Swing. Ruth spent several years serving the Lord in Africa. Upon returning home she retired from Southwest Regional Hospital. Visitation will be held on Friday May 6, 2016 from 4-7pm at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair. St., Chatham. Visitation will continue at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Saturday May 7, 2016 from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11am with Rev. Andrew Martin Officiating. Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church or the Kidney Foundation.
