Obituary of Glenn Peltier

PELTIER, Glenn. Glenn, a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at University Hospital in London, at the age of 78. Born in Dover Township, son of the late Wesley & Bernice Peltier. Loving husband and best friend to Arlene (Downey) Peltier for 54 years. Cherished brother of Murray Peltier (Shirley) of Raleigh, Ruth Sereda (the late Walt) of Raleigh, Betty Ann Ouellette (Gerald) of Dover and the late Robert Peltier (2011). Glenn is survived by twenty nieces and nephews and by many friends. Glenn retired from the automotive industry and he was always volunteering. Glenn was also a Knights of Columbus member for a number of years. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Vigil prayers to be offered by Father Daniel Bombardier at 3:00 p.m. and Knights of Columbus prayers to be offered at 6:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 10:00 am with Father Daniel Bombardier as celebrant. Interment to follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Chatham. Donations in memory of Glenn to the Canadian Cancer Society and Blessed Sacrament-St. Vincent De Paul would be greatly appreciated by the family.
