Obituary of Janet Leslie Nelligan

Nelligan, Janet, a resident of Chatham. Janet Nelligan died suddenly on Thurssday November 28, 2013 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 61. Born in Hamilton, daughter of the late Bernard Arthur & Grace (Bishop) Fawcett. Beloved wife of Dan Nelligan. Dear mother of Jennifer & Jeremy Schiller, Kingsville; Pat & Angie Nelligan, London; and Mike Nelligan, Tilbury. Grandmother of Shelby, Paul, Ryan, Julia & Denver. Sister of Ellen & Alex Hughes, Almonte; Bruce & Rita Fawcett, Barrie and John & Cathé Fawcett, Burnaby, B.C. Daughter-in-law of Noreen (Joseph 2005) Nelligan, London. Janet will also be missed by several in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and her many pets. Janet was a 30 year employee of the former St. Joseph’s Hospital and the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Monday December 2, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. A Private Family Inurnment will take place at a later date in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
