Obituary of Ron Malm

MALM: Ronald Karl. A resident of Rondeau Bay Estates, Ron Malm passed away at his home on Thursday, November 14, 2013 in his 70th year. He was born in Chatham. Loving husband of Marlene (Titus) for 32 years this December. Proud father of Mindy Iemma (Vince) of London, and Autumn Desormeaux-Malm (Christopher) of Chatham. Proud and cherished Grandpa of Channing Iemma and Nico Iemma. Predeceased by his parents Leo (1992) and Marian Jean Malm (Ivey) (2010), his brother John "Jack" Robert Malm (2005), and sister Margaret Nina Malm (2003). Survived by his sister-in-law Mrs. Marjorie Malm of McKay's Corners. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ron retired in 1998 from Meritor Chatham as a machine repairman with 35 1/2 years service. He enjoyed his workshop, fishing, and time spent with family and friends. You will be forever missed and in our hearts. He will also be greatly missed by his adoring cat Boo. Friends and family will be received at Memorial Visitation at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A celebration of Ron's life will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Dave Steadman and Pastor Cheryl Steadman officiating. A reception will follow at Royal Canadian Legion Branch #243, directly across the street.
