Van BIESBROUCK: Julius J. (Beezie). A resident of Blenheim, Julius Van Biesbrouck passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the age of 85. Born in Chatham, son of the late Arthur and Jeannette (Hoet) Van Biesbrouck. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Cundle) Van Biesbrouck (2009). Dear father of Barry and Sandy Van Biesbrouck of Blenheim, Lee and Jill Van Biesbrouck of Grimsby, Laurie and Larry Callow of Blenheim, Janette and Michael Higgins of New Orleans, Daphne Van Biesbrouck and Bosco Bertrand of Tecumseh, Merrie and Mike Wierts of Beamsville, and predeceased by his daughter Julie Pullen (2009) and her husband Frank of Blenheim, and daughter Susan Demeyre (2003) and her husband Mike of Blenheim. Cherished grandfather of Josh and Dane Van Biesbrouck, Michael, Heather (Tyler Warwick), and Brian (fiancée Fran)Van Biesbrouck, Tanya (Bernie) Zilliges, Kristen (Rob) Obeid, Clayton (Niki) Callow, Chris (Lanh) Pullen, Gareth (fiancée Stacey) Pullen, Joel and Dylan Demeyre, Connor and Ryker Bertrand, Colin and Sarah Wierts. Proud great-grandfather of Bailey, Claire, and Zoe Zilliges, Dylan, Bryan, and Andrew Pullen, Coleton and Carson Callow, Alexis and Lilith Demeyre. Brother of the late Joe Van Biesbrouck (Adela of Chatham), Mary Lipa (Lyle of Blenheim), Lorraine Murray, and survived by sister-in-law Jackie Cundle of Blenheim. Predeceased by brother and sister-in-law Keith and Jean (Cundle) Holdaway. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Julius was a founding and life member of the Rondeau Rod & Gun Club. He was a civilian instructor with 291 Squadron Blenheim Air Cadets for many years, and a longtime member of Royal Canadian Legion Br. #185 Blenheim. Julius was an avid hunter, fisherman, and card player. He was a masonry contractor for over 60 years in the Blenheim area and his legacy will live on in the many homes, businesses, and fireplaces that he built. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m., and again on Monday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Terris officiating. Cremation with private interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
