Cornwall, Rawle Kestin Glyn, a resident of R.R. #5 Merlin. Rawle Cornwall passed away suddenly on Monday November 4, 2013 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 81. Born in Grenada, W.I. son of the late John & Edna (Belfon) Cornwall. Beloved husband of Geraldine Cecilie (Greenidge) Cornwall. Dear father of Wilfred Cornwall (Renee), Hamilton; Margaret Chappell (Dana), Chatham; Sharon Cornwall, Calgary; Christopher Cornwall (Margaret), London; Glynn Cornwall (Christine), Toronto; Edna Cornwall Shadd (Willy); Chatham; Tyrrell Cornwall (Mary Lou), North Carolina; Richard Cornwall (Evertte), Toronto and the late Eric Cornwall (1977). Brother of Norris Cornwall (Christine), Toronto; Ellis Holstein, Chatham; Celia Mitchell (Godfrey), London; Norma Gibbs (Cecil-2013) and the late Ermine MacDonald (2001). Grandfather of grandchildren Julia Chappell, Yolanda Cornwall, Justin Chappell, Aaron Cornwall, Jermaine Chappell, Selina Cornwall, Anthony Headley, Kestin Cornwall, Jamaal Cornwall, Cassandra Cornwall-Douglas, Genevieve Cornwall, Lindsay Cornwall, Jovan Shadd, Desiree Henry, Tevin Shadd, Joshua Cornwall, Zaria Cornwall, Markus Shadd, Zakary Cornwall, Jonathan Cornwall, & Mateen Cornwall. Great Grandchildren Juwan Chappell, Kataura Quayson , Tyriq Quayson, Maliki Cornwall-Douglas, Jelis Chappell, Jamicia Cornwall –Douglas, Hayden Chappell, Novahji Cornwall-Douglas, Quinton Chappell, Zion Cornwall-Douglas, Isaiah Cornwall, Grayson Chappell, & Jaxson Headley. And last, but not least, Lynda Shadd who Rawle regarded as his 4th daughter, and was always dear to his heart.Also survived by several nieces and nephews who Rawle thought of as his own children. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Thursday November 7, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Friday at 1:30 p.m. with Wilfred Cornwall officiating.
