Obituary of Kenneth Cucksey

CUCKSEY: Charles Kenneth, aged 84, passed away on Thursday, July 25th, 2013 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, following a lengthy struggle with cancer. Ken was born June 20, 1929 in Chatham, son of Ethel May and Walter Lloyd Cucksey. Beloved husband of the late June (Smith-Pulman) Cucksey. Survived by stepsons Peter (Kim), Keith, and Wayne (Violet) Pulman, grandchildren Garatt (Jenifer) Pulman, Ashley (Casey) Ponsoll, Brittany Pulman and great grandchildren Jack, Sophia and Olivia Ponsoll. Ken's siblings were Mrs. Elizabeth Hallatt and the late Mrs. Marjorie Shaw. Ken is also survived by many nieces and nephews of the Shaw and Hallatt families. His working career was with Union Gas in Chatham. Ken was an award winning photographer, former member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, past D/C of the Canadian Power Squadron (1991-1992), past Commodore of the Thames River Yacht Club (1985), and member of Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:30 p.m. with The Rev.
