AUSTIN: Agnes Mary Jacqueline (nee Murray) - A resident of Chatham, Jackie Austin went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, surrounded by her family at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Francis James “Bud” (2006). Predeceased by parents Alex and Jeanette (Stewardson) Murray. Loving mother of Dan, Jean (Doug) Montgomery, Cheryl (Alph) Chislett and the late Karen Reed. Special granny to Dan Jr. (Jenny), Charlie (Samantha), Laura (Brad) and Peter (Caitlin) Austin; Jennifer(Shaun), Christie (Won Sang), Scott and Katelyn Montgomery; Reed family, Melissa (Jake) Barney, Taylor (Jessica) Gallen and several great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Ron (Donna) Murray, Marlene (Derek) Hardy and the late Doug and Keith (Janet) Murray. Sister-in-law to Tom (Eileen) Austin, Nola Murray, Marney Moore and the late Jane (Bill) Chivers and Elmer Moore. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Jackie was a long time member of Emmanual Baptist Church, where she was actively involved in the choir, nursery and various programs. She always enjoyed her music and was an accomplished pianist. Her elite createive talent shone through her “Pretty “Patches” designs. Sincere thanks to the staff at Maple City Residence and Riverview Gardens for their care and compassion. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday, July 29, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Andrew Martin officiating.
