EMANS: William (Bill). A resident of Chatham, Bill Emans died peacefully at Eden Villa on Wednesday July 24, 2013. Born in Chatham, 79 years ago, son of the late William & Catherine (McFadyen) Emans. Beloved husband of Betty Emans (Leatherdale) (Kozina) and the late Mary Anne Emans (Huffman) (1995). Dear father of Terry Youngs (Richard) of Mason, Ohio; Deborah Emans of Montreal; Pamela Power (Tom) of Windsor, and John Emans (Pat) of Winnipeg. Loving grandfather of Ryan (Bethany), Cory (Lauren), Mijon, Exene, Melissa, Joseph, Megan, Ashley, and Joshua, and great greatfather of Carter. Fondly remembered by his step-children Karen Butler (Mark) of Campbellville, Lynn St. John of Blenheim, and Brenda Kraemer (Michael) of Mitchell, and step-grandfather of Kristin and Kyle. Predeceased by his brothers Steve (2011), Donald (Scotty) (2005), and Myles (1963). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bill retired from Guspro, and was a member of Sprucedale United Church. He was an active member and former director of Meals on Wheels, and member of Ridgetown Golf & Country Club. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Saturday July 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tyler Powell officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations in memory of Bill to Sprucedale United Church or a charity of one’s choice appreciated.
