Obituary of Rose Bornais

BORNAIS: Rose. A resident of Chatham, and formerly of Windsor, Rose Bornais died peacefully at the Chatham Retirement Resort on Friday, May 31, 2013. Born in Tilbury 95 years ago on April 27, 1918, daughter of the late Moise & Louise (Dupuis) Lanoue. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Bornais (1976). Loving mother of Mary Lou & Leo Beaune of Blenheim, Ann Bornais, and Linda DeWit, both of Chatham. Cherished grandmother of Edward Beaune and proud great grandmother of his daughters Kendra and Kyla. Rose was a last surviving member of her family, being predeceased by her siblings Raymond, Moise, Sylvio, Ernest, and Victoria. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Velina Lanoue, and Rhea Tremblay, both of Tilbury, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday June 3, 2013 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will follow at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with interment at St. Francis Cemetery, Tilbury at a later date.
