Obituary of Marilyn June Sullivan

SULLIVAN: Marilyn June (nee Stowe) - A lifelong resident of Blenheim, Marilyn Sullivan passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with her family at her side on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the age of 73. Born in Blenheim, Marilyn was the daughter of the late John Henry and Florence Irene (Walker) Stowe. Beloved wife of the late Charles Sullivan (2000). Loving mother of John Sullivan (Joanne) of Blenheim, Mark Sullivan (Lisa) of Blenheim, Mike Sullivan (Brenda) of Blenheim, Rick Sullivan (Karrie) of Chatham and Marcie Dietrich (David) of Windsor. Proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 7 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings John Henry “Jack” Stowe (1985), Ken Stowe (1986), Dorothy Huckle (2004) and Linda Grinage(2012). Sister-in-law to Molly Stowe and Shirley Stowe. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Marilyn owned and operated the Blenheim Laundromat for over 25 years. A Private Family Service for Marilyn will be held at a later date. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Donations made in memory of Marilyn to the O.S.P.C.A – Chatham-Kent or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. But, inside that caterpillar, he knows that there is more for someday God will transform him and give him wings to soar. What a beautiful day when the caterpillar is majestically changed and his body is wonderfully arranged. He now has freedom... Total freedom to fly. For he has become a "Butterfly".
