SMITH: Margaret Isabella (nee Walters) - Passed away peacefully at the Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the age of 91. Born in Howard Township and daughter of the late Austin and Josephine (Bury) Walters, Margaret lived in the Morpeth area her entire life. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Smith (2001). Loving mother to Carol Devine (Jim) of R.R. # 2 Blenheim and the late Jerry Smith (2010). Proud grandmother of Darren Devine (Cindy), Cheryl Ryckman (Scot), Kim Riach (Brent) and Todd Smith (Kelley). Great-grandmother to Trevor and Taylor Devine, Shelby and Jamie Ryckman, Tabitha Atkinson and Candice Atkinson (Garrett and their children Alexis and Mason), and Brody Riach. Predeceased by her sisters Doris Ford (Irvine) and Audrey Grey (Tom) and her brother Albert Walters. Also missed by several nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Margaret was a member of the Palmyra Women’s Institute, the Ridgetown Legion Br. #243 Ladies Auxiliary, the Ladies Red Hat Society and the Morpeth United Church U.C.W. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013 with Rev. Al McIntyre officiating. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
