Moerman: Walter Philip -
Wally (Walter) passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent health alliance on March 29, 2023, After a courageous battle with cancer.
It was easy to see the kind of person Wally was, while having the continued support of his many friends throughout his journey.
Wally was a very kind hearted and caring man, always helping others going as far to donating his hair to cancer. He loved being outdoors and especially loved fishing. Wally lived his life to the fullest, his way!
In keeping with Wally's wishes Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of his life will follow at a later date.
Friends of Wally would like to extend their sincere appreciation to London Health Sciences, especially Dr.Winquest and the entire staff on the Cancer Ward. Thank you also to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance fourth flour nurses and palliative care staff. Especially Karen for their outstanding care. As well to Chatham Bayshore and Lisa Babcock, Nurse Practitioner, who kept us as a team and went above and beyond, that as a medical professional.
