Spence: John Kenneth
It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John Spence at the age of 63 on February 26th. John is survived by his father Thomas Kenneth (Violet) and sister Jane (Rick) Shields of London, brother Jeff (Shelley) of Blenheim. John was predeceased by his mother Patricia and sister Jennifer. He is also survived by his niece Jessica Shields; nephew Gregory Shields (Shanna); great nephew Colton and great niece Brooklyn. John enjoyed playing hockey in his youth and farming. He also drove transport for a period of time. John was a very devoted son and friend to Ken and his absence will be great.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service to celebrate John's life at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Botany Cemetery.
John was a member of the Botany Cemetery board and would appreciate anyone wanting to make a memorial donation in his memory to consider the Botany Cemetery Fund.
