Veldboom: Aleida Johanna "Joanne" (nee Lankhof) -

A resident of Chatham, Joanne Veldboom passed away unexpectedly at home on November 7, 2022 at the age of 89.

Born in Dinxperlo, The Netherlands, Joanne was the daughter of the late Willem and Dine (nee Stronks) Lankhof.

Beloved wife of the late Willem "Bill" Veldboom (2020).

Dear mother to Margaret and Bill Pilon, Bill and Linda Veldboom. Predeceased by her daughter Donna Veldboom (1977).

Proud grandmother to Scott, Lisa, Brent (Melissa), Kevin (April), Sarah, Lauren and Lien; great-grandmother to Abigail, Jasper, Penelope, Griffin, Cole, Justin, Dylan and Eric.

Dear sister to John and Nancy Lankhof; sister-in-law to Henny Lankhof. Predeceased by her brother Gerard Lankhof.

Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service to celebrate Joanne's life at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.

Memorial donations made in memory of Joanne to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
