Obituary of Danny Pretty

Pretty, Danny Raymond  

A resident of Chatham Danny Pretty passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the age of 72.

Danny was the son of the late Earl & Ihrma (nee Smith) Pretty. 

He is reunited with his late wife, Deborah (nee D'Clute, 2014). 

Loving father of Lisa D'Clute (Derrick Handsor).  

Proud grandfather of Samantha Turner-D'Clute, Michael Day, Maddison Handsor-D'Clute, Lexi Handsor-D'Clute and Donovan Handsor.  

Great-grandfather to Annastasia Turner-D'Clute, Lincoln D’Clute, and Jayla Johns-Day.  

Brother of Don Knight, the late Kenneth Pretty, the late Wayne Pretty, the late Bill Knight, and the late Bob Knight. 

Uncle to many. 

Danny retired from Heinz after many years of Service. 

He was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Brach 628. 

Danny enjoyed spending time woodworking and with his family.  

Family will receive friends at the FuneralHome, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 11:00 am until the Funeral Service at 12:00 pm. 

Cremation to follow.  

Donations made in memory of Danny may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
