Tante Diane, Colleen & Todd & family: I was so sad to hear of Uncle Ralph’s passing. The photos online are such a beautiful tribute to a wonderful man. He was always so gentle and friendly. I remember many DeKievit family gatherings where his smile (and Tante Diane’s laugh) filled the room. He will be greatly missed. Sorry again for your loss. My prayers are with you.

I worked with both Ralph and Marv for 32 years. 2 great guys. Ralph always came to our plant reunions for 14 years. He will be missed by all of his Eaton Yale/Oxford brothers and sisters. Rest in peace.

Aunt Diane, Colleen & Todd and family. I am so sorry to hear the passing of Uncle Ralph. Aunt Diane ,I have so many good early memories of Uncle Ralph when you use to babysit me as a kid. I always admired his work ethic, patience, living life to it's fullest and most importantly his love for his family.

Colleen, I remember your dad so clearly from decades ago. Us kids would be running up and down Alpine Avenue, playing Kick the Can on the circle in front of your house. We’ve been friends with Todd & Colleen since high school and grew to know Ralph and Diane through the years.
Ralph was the rock for all of them. He was the biggest piece of their family puzzle which only grew when Tara and Tyler came along followed by Josh, Kaitlyn and then his great grandson Atlas.
He had a profound impact on people through how he treated them and the result was their respect and admiration in return.
Colleen, you are your father’s legacy and I’m sure he is so proud of you!

Our deepest sympathy to Diane and family. We have been neighbours with Ralph and Diane for over 17 years. Frank and Ralph had many chats over the backyard fence, which he will miss tremendously. Ralph was always there to help with his expert advice on how to fix something, a tool to borrow or to lend a hand. He always gave a wave and a cheery hello to us and our kids when coming or going. He was Mr Ralph to our grandkids. He respected everyone, and he was respected back. He was truly a caring loving man, who loved life and enjoyed life. His love for Diane , Colleen, Todd, Tara, Josh, Tyler, Kaitlyn and Atlas was very evident. He was so proud of all of them. Very proud to be the great grandfather of Atlas. He was truly blessed, as they all are with wonderful memories to hold in their hearts and cherish.

Well as a child I knew Cousin Ralph as Uncle Bud n Aunt Diane we would visit them with my Mom or would see them on a visit at his Aunt Reid’s house which is my grandma anyway I would see them drive by in his truck n always with.
