A resident of Chatham, Bill Robinson passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home at the age of 91.

He was the son of the late Charles Frederick & Ethel Victoria (nee Brown) Robinson. 

Bill will be lovingly remembered always by his wife of 65 beautiful years, Emily Robinson (nee Travis). 

Father of Esther Robinson (Keith), Blair Robinson & Christopher Robinson (Anne).

Grandfather of Megan Heinhuis (Jarrett), Myles Robinson (Taye), Kohl Robinson (Casey), & Michaela Robinson (Connor).

Great-grandfather of Asher Heinhuis.

Dear brother of the late Gwen Robinson, late Charles Robinson (Betty), the late Gloria Powell (the late Earl), the late John Robinson (Gwen), the late Betty Matthews (the late John), the late Daniel Robinson (the late Noreen), Imelda Dungy (the late Tom), Bonnie Tatem (the late Albert), and Paul Robinson (Peggy). 

Missed by many nieces, nephews and special family, Lorrie Butler. 

Bill was a devoted member of the Baptist Church Community and enjoyed singing with the church. He retired 36 years ago as a Customs Broker with Siemens (formerly FRAM). Bill loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Family to receive friends on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 11:00 am until a Celebration of Bill's life at 12:00 pm at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham. Burial to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery. 

In memory of Bill in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
