Obituary of Janet Horne
Horne, Janet Alma (nee Levesque)
Reunited into Eternal Life with her God and loving husband, Jim (2018) on June 11, 2022 Janet Horne passed away peacefully at the age of 78.
She was the daughter of the late Tony & Delina (nee Lalonde) Levesque.
Janet will be remembered always by her three daughters, Michelle Pellerin of Lethbridge, Margaret Horne of Chatham, and Denise Horne of Medicine Hat.
Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Jonathon Pellerin, Christopher Pellerin, Jennifer Kype and her great-grandchildren, Rayden & Sadie Pellerin, all of Alberta.
Survived by her brothers Robert Levesque (Lucille), Richard Levesque and sisters, Lucille Quayle (Michael), and Annette Lozon (Ray).
Dear sister-in-law of Wilbert Horne (Mary Jean), Walter Horne (Joanne) and Robert Horne (Theresa).
Predeceased by her brother-in-law, Joseph (1992), and sister-in-laws, Sr. Mary Catharine Horne, O.S.U. (2018) and Nancy Horne (2019).
Fondly remembered by many nieces & nephews.
Janet was devoted to her faith and was a member of the Franciscans. She loved to sing - often singing over the PA at Riverview Gardens. Janet enjoyed knitting, playing yahtzee, playing games on the computer and going to the Casino. She loved her children & grandchildren unconditionally.
Family to receive friends on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass of Janet's life will be celebrated at 10:00 am Monday at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 205 Tweedsmuir Ave West, Chatham. Burial to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
