Shaw: Betty Joanne ( nee Brown) -
A resident of Chatham, Betty Shaw passed away at the Meadowpark Home on June 12, 2022 at the age of 83.
Born in Chatham, Betty was the daughter of the late Robert and Almeda (nee Yott) Brown.
Beloved wife of the late Ronald Shaw.
Dear mother to Ted (Mary) Shaw, Mike (Lynn) Shaw, Chris (Kim) Shaw; Michele (late Marvin Jr.) Grineage; Proud grandmother to Jennifer, Christopher, Steven, Scott, Jason, Alanna, Cassidy, Sydney, Addison, Lisa and the late Madison. Nana to 8 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Bob (Carolyn) Brown. Betty will also be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks is extended to the caring staff on the West wing of Meadowpark for their tremendous care shown to Betty.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service to celebrate Betty's life will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday June 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
