Nigel came over to refinish my floors and we instantly became friends. Our time together was short, but we had a lot of fun working on and admiring the Torino, Lincoln, and Buick. He made a lasting impact. He will be forever missed.

I am sorry for your loss. I recently met Nigel when he came in for lunch while working on a project in the area. As it was only he and I in the restaurant, we had a conversation. Larry and family.
I was heartbroken to learn of Nigel’s untimely passing. While I only came to meet Nigel through a very brief work encounter some two years ago it was memorable. He assisted me to complete the refinishing of a set of stairs in an old home my son had purchased. With Larry passing the torch, I benefitted from Nigel getting the assignment. Within moments of meeting Nigel I felt like I had known him forever. Though there were at least 50 years between us, conversation was immediately easy, interesting and fun. Nigel was ‘the real deal.’ Despite his youthfulness, he was as genuine as the day is long. Friendly, engaging and comical- a very sweet soul. I cannot imagine your loss. I hope you will find some comfort in knowing that Nigel undoubtedly touched many, many others as he did me.

I was so sad to hear of Nigel's passing. I am so grateful that after years of hearing stories of Nigel I finally got to meet him at Andy and Shannon's wedding. I will cherish that day, and Jeff's wedding for eternity. Meeting Nigel was like meeting an old friend. He was so kind and welcoming, funny, and his devilish smirk will forever be engraved in my memories of him. I only met Nigel twice but his death has just devastated me. I cannot fathom how his family and friends feel, and I'm also so sorry to hear of the passing of his good friend Jaimee. Life is fragile, and unfair. Sorry it has taken me this long to post. I've been having a very hard time dealing with this. Nigel was truly the best Sedge! He was a sincerely kind individual who always put everyone ahead of himself. It was such a privilege to grow up with him and go through all family events with him, Sandy, Larry, Andy and Nadine. It was even more rewarding to hang out with him as an adult and to witness the amazing man he had become. I will never forget his laugh and smirk. My time spent with him during Andy's bachelor party, wedding and my brother's wedding provide me with memories that will never fade. My heart goes out to everybody that knew him and everyone involved in this tragic event. Reading the comments posted here has been very therapeutic and appreciated. He was a great kid and this never should have happened.

There are no words to describe or to even comprehend how participating and enjoying a community event could possibly lead to a young man losing his life at such a young age. Never will he be married, never will he become a father, never will be given the opportunity to grow old and enjoy the life and career he was so successful with.
Larry, Sandy, Nadine, Andy and family…. our hearts are breaking for you all. This really sucks!
Although Nigel and Jeremy grew up together like two peas in a pod and eventually went their separate ways we will always, always, always treasure the times that they spent together either riding the mini bike on the sidewalk between our houses, them playing countless hours on the PS2 but mostly Guitar Hero, camping and all the highlights, family vacations, road hockey, fireworks, birthday parties , sleepovers, swimming and sunscreen…the list goes on.
Nigel will be missed here on earth…
Heaven will receive a very special Angel…
