She was the daughter of the late Sydney and Emily Fraser (McNight) of Tabusintac N.B.

She has 4 grandchildren, Calum, Kristy, Cara and Tawnie and 3 great-grandchildren, Aiden, Anica and Ashford.

Mom joined the C.W.A.C. in World War II where she served at the Base Post Office in Ottawa where the mail was looked after for the members of the Armed Forces and the prisoners of war in camps in Canada.

Mom was an engaging story teller, relating her time growing up in Tabusintac and her life as a C.W.A.C. during World War II. Also, she was accomplished at any kind of needle work, most especially quilting. Quilts were made for all her children, grandchildren and their spouses. She volunteered in quilting groups that sold or donated quilts to other community groups.

A private family service will be held and she will be interred at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Chatham alongside her loving husband Donald F. McCutchen.
