Obituary of Jesse Burridge

BURRIDGE: Jesse - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jesse Burridge (Chalcraft) who we lost in a tragic accident on May 1, 2022 at the young age of 19.

Born in Chatham, Jesse was the son of Tasha and Norman Burridge Jr.

Predeceased by his Dad, Barry Wood (2014).

Cherished grandson to Linda Rawlings and Ronald Taylor, George and Yvette Henkel, and Norman Sr and Hilda Burridge. Predeceased by Donald and Marlene Chalcraft.

Beloved brother of Carissa Verkaik, Melissa Verkaik (Taylor), Caitlin Burridge and Dawson Burridge, Beloved step brother of Justin Burridge(Tiffany) Trevor Burridge(Amber), Annie Walker, Jimmy Walker (Tonya), Jessica Wood and the late Taylor (2006). Also many friends of his and his siblings that became chosen family.

Special Uncle to Myson and Mya, Elyse and Rowan

Beloved Boyfriend of Kaitlin Remsik.

Survived by his biological father James Albert Chalcraft

Also missed by many friends, extended family and his fishing family.

Jesse loved and took pride in his job working for Cabral Fisheries on the Teresa Maria. They lovingly nicknamed him Shakey and considered him family. He was an avid fisherman. He loved vehicles of any kind. He loved the outdoors. Jesse was full of life, light, love and energy, always having fun with a great sense of humour and a huge heart. He was one of the most caring, kind, thoughtful and giving people you could ever meet.

Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St.Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 6:00 - 9:00pm.
