So sorry to learn of Jimmy's passing. I will remember him always as a fine, fine gentleman who valued his family, friends, customers immensely and one of the hardest working people I have ever met. To Helen, Aprilia and Steph, I have been either wearing or displaying in my home the t shirt shown here ever since hearing of his passing. For medical reasons I could not attend at the funeral but rest assured you are all in my thoughts.

Our beloved Jim wasn’t only an almost lifetime business partner with my husband, Angelo. They were brothers, something that I’ve heard from both of them over the years. They cared deeply for each other and I did too. I’m going to miss our talks so much, Jim had a heart of gold. Our children Despina(Paul), Zoey and Alexandra will also miss him deeply.
Not a single day will go by where Jimmy and his family will escape from our thoughts. Their tremendous sadness is ours too. Our continuous prayers are will all of the family especially our precious and priceless Goddaughter Stephanie. May the Archangel Michael and your Guardian Angel keep you under their wings. Our beloved brother, may Saint Dimitrios protect your precious soul. I feel certain that our Heavenly Father waits with <open arms> to greet and keep you for eternity.

Our deepest condolences to Jimmy's wife, daughters, grandchildren and extended family and friends including Angelo and staff at FJ/Venus de Milo. I first met Jimmy during the early 80's while working next door at the former Standard Trust Company. Jim and Angelo have been icons in our little town for so many years ... always so much fun to drop in for drinks and a delicious meal and have an opportunity to say hello. Jimmy's great loss could not have been more evident when Dale and I stopped in tonight for our weekly perch dinner and profound sadness was written all over the faces of staff and patrons alike. Rest in Peace dearest Jimmy ... you will be forever missed!

I have known Jimmy since my teenaged children were babies. Over the years, I got to know his two lovely daughters and felt like Fat Jimmy'z was like a second home. Jimmy and I had many conversations about Greece, parenthood ... life. He was always kind and supportive to me, as he was to many others, and never wanted credit for it . Before the pandemic, he hired to me design the FJ/Venus website and always pressured me to remember to invoice him, as he was worried about my little family surviving. I am really grateful I got to meet and know Jimmy. I send light and love to his wife, girls, and grandchildren! xo

Dear Helen, Avrilia, Stephanie and other family members. So very sad to read that you have lost your husband, father and grandfather, brother and uncle. I didn’t know him well but what I did see was a man who looked content with life and always had a nod or smile for customers.

We are so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. All of our family thought the world of him.
Our son Bradon worked with him in his high school years and Nathan our other son visited frequently after sporting events.
We enjoyed Jim’s visits to our table whenever we were out for meals or get togethers. Always had a smile on his face and made us feel welcome. Our condolences to his family at this difficult time.

Jimmy was an outstanding community man. I've known Jim since I was a little girl. My family being lifetime patrons of the Venus and later Fat Jimmy's. He supported my daughter Jenna's fundraising efforts in the United Way So you Think You've Got Talent, as well as opening the doors for our local firedept at 430 in the morning when they had been out battling fires.he took Wade into the kitchen at 4 yrs old to make his own personal pizza. He attended funeral visitations of many of his patrons whom had passed on. What a true honorable man. He always took time to say hello and took genuine interest in your life. Support of our local ball teams especially the BeerWolves. A hardworking and an utmost community man whom loved his wife and his family as well as the community he supported and served for many years. May you rest in peace, Jimmy, we will miss you so much.
